Corotech Prep All Universal Metal Primer is an economical, one component, quick dry, rust inhibitive metal primer, formulated for use on ferrous metal substrates subjected to mild corrosive exposures. The phenolic alkyd resin formulation allows for a wide variety of intermediate and finish coat chemistries. The fast dry and recoat time allows for fast turn-around of production work. The barrier protection and rust inhibitive pigmentation that this product provides leaves a film that prevents corrosion for many years. Additionally, this product may be used as a tie coat over existing coatings that will be finished with a high performance coating. It provides corrosion resistance for both interior and exterior steel surfaces. Not recommended for non-ferrous metals such as galvanized, aluminum or for use in immersion service. May be applied to new or properly prepared rusted surfaces. White This product is suitable for use in USDA inspected facilities.
