ROLLER COVERS

Rollers are the best way to directly apply house paints over large areas. They now come in a bewildering array of coverings, cores, and nap lengths.
COVERS include Lambskin, polyester, Draylon, Perlon, polyamide, mohair, foams and now microfiber. Some manufacturers use blends of fibers.
Cores are moving to resilient plastic and away from the traditional brittle phenolic cardboard.
The surface to be painted determines which length of the pile you should select. Deep textures require long nap rollers whereas a smooth surface should have a minimal length.
