Acetone is a very fast evaporating, extremely flammable solvent. It can be used to dissolve many natural and synthectic gums, waxes, oils and dyes. It will redily mix with wter, alcohols, esters, ethere and orgther orgainc solvents. Acetone can be use for thinning epoxies, lacquers, and adhesives, as well as polyester resins used in fiberglass boat and auto repairs.
